Technical problems

Hi there!
I like CTP 1 that much, I buied it finaly!
Im using Win XP and it works fine with Patch v1.2 and v1.2.1 hack. (everything installed in the order it should be installed)
But, Apolyton Pack and Med V 4.0 do crash always.

Here are some error messages:
Apolyton Pack:
advance.txt line 1734: Error
Could not find ADVANCE_FUNDAMENTALISM in string database

Medival v4.0:
advance.txt line 103: Error
Could not find ADVANCE_ORAL_TRADITIONS in string database

The game folder is standard:
C:\Programme\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power (I play in german)
I changed in \ctp_program\ctp\userprofile.txt
debugslic=no into yes.

there was no README file into the Apolyton Pack download.

What can I do to play at least one of these mods?

hmm, my guess is that you have to play in English.

I reinstalled the game. I couldn't see to be able to change the gameinstallation into english. It always install german.

Have I to buy the game in english to play the Apolyton Pack or the Med v4.0 ?
The problem seems to be into the file: C:\Programme\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\scenarios\MedPack4\default\gamedata\Advance. txt

Any idea?

I think you can just go to \Civilization-Call To Power\scenarios\Apolyton and \Civilization-Call To Power\scenarios\MedPack4 and rename the folder "english" to "german".
