Error message with 1.2 patch

I'm running CCTP 1.0 ok, but the 1.2 English patch will not work. The error message states that the uninstall part of CCTP is currently running and I should close the application and rerun the patch. The Problem is that it's not running, so i'm not sure what to do.

Have you tried the manual install patch?
