By way of contrast, EPW is beating me in both of our games, to the point where there is absolutely no hope. (This was the case many, many turns ago, even though I kept hoping against hope until about turn 101).

Haven't heard anything from dancemasseuse for a few days either. We planned to start a new (non-tourney of course) game and I sent him the tourney mod, but as yet no reply.

I was wondering if it was gmail acting up or something.

Yes, it was a very fun game. Ricketyclik put up a good fight, even though it was mostly on the defensive.

The map was excellent IMO, we had this chokepoint, though it didn't really come into play:
