Is there a way to turn off AUTO-END TURN?

In playing PBEM's. the game most of the time Auto-Ends the turn, when maybe you would like to survey how your civ looks, ect?

(Like Putting some PW together)

Me and a new person are playing, he asked but never had this brought up before, but an outstanding question in my book!

Yeah, its an option in the options.
