Happy Birthday Math, whenever you are

It's pity to see a once vibrant place so... empty of life

      Happy Birthday Mathemagician

By the way, I hope no-one minds here that I added a happy thread icon to this thread.

        Martin

You have all my thanks, gratitude and respect!

You most certainly have freedome to do as you wish!

I still play CTP and have done several mods for me in SP

Many moons ago you were a great help and kind to walk me through many issues.

I know, but on the other hand I wish to do something like this with consent and of course I think it is also a good idea for future birthday threads.

Actually, it is a pity that the thread icons aren't used, probably that's because that the "No icon" option is the default option and the quick reply option doesn't offer the thread icons. And a third problem is that the set of available thread icons is limited. For instance for this thread I would prefer a smily with a party hat. So I used the best approximation.

I used to use thread icons when appropriate, long time ago, when I was pretty active in the ex-multiplayer forum.

I must admit I felt pretty sad when all CtP related forums were merged into a single one, especially the multiplayer forum which I believe should be left apart from the others.

The reason for that was that no-one is left, actually it is my task to reduce the number of topped threads in this forum, but so far I haven't started to do this, since I don't like to be the undertaker of the remains of CTP1 multiplayer.

Martin, let me help you with this one.

I've been active for more than 7 years in the CtP-Multiplayer forum so I could use my experience to assist you with the appropriate selection.

Well, my first idea was to untop the "I am not here" threads, since now it is obvious that no one is here. And the other thing is untopping the internet/challenge threads. At least two of them so that "CTP PBEM Challenge Ladder June 2006" is left.

That would leave five of the nine threads topped, which is a good number. But of course I want to hear what you think about it, first.
