    help please! my copy of civ ctp is apparently broken! the "Civmain.exe" and "civlang.exe" are corrupted!What do i do?

    I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

      Actually those files should have the extension ctp, and are just two big zip files, which are unpacked by the installer.

      The program file itself is called civctp.exe.

        help again

        oops ur right they are .ctp...

        the problem is i try to install the game but it says "an unrecoverable error has occured.Please try installing again." i tried copying the contents of the disc to a folder on my desktop,but those to files wont copy.

          Well in that case copy the files the two files onto your hard disc. Change the extension *.ctp extension to *.zip and use WinZip or any other unzip program to unzip them. Both files need to be unzip into the same location. For instance C:/Activision/ or whatever folder your prefer. If you use the above folder, then you find the executable in:

          C:\Activision\ctp_program\ctp\civctp.exe
