Not only do I still play, I even mod the game.

I've made a bunch of small SLIC mods that do various things like steal gold when a city is captured, give a small science bonus randomly on making a discovery, and giving an early game warning if your continent is shared.

My latest project is an in-game jukebox (I got tired of having such a tiny selection of songs, and my computer doesn't like running two big programs at once). Currently trying to get the game to play mp3 files with no success.
