My cities are rioting for no apparant reason, the cities happiness bars are in green before and after the riot. Any possible reason?

I found the answer to the problem in an old, old post. The suggestion from Mathemagician is that it has something to do with the game temporarily reseting wages and making your cities unhappy when you have a low gold stock. I increased my gold stock and the problem went away.--HiggsComment

Yes, when your gold is too low the sliders are automatically adjusted to increase the gold output.
This can also happen when you exceed your total number of cities permitted by the government type you have at the time.Comment
