I was just curious
For maybe 25 years my Momma (R.I.P. almost 7 years now) had me eating a tomatoe paste/tomatoe base with Saltine Crackers but when my sweetheart introduced me to her way, its got Woschestershire Sauce and then Brown Gravy smothered on top. Bread fer filling.

I have been reading the Strategy thread for CTP1. I'm about half way through on page 8 or 9. Is the rest of it a rant page/gossip column too? I checked the last page and it still seems that the primary thing being discussed is cheats, bugs etc. It seems like a fthread for cheats and bugs and maybe another for complaints ought to be started and a new strategy page begun with a starting proviso leting everyone know what is being discussed. And maybe that should be set to appear at the top of each page. Strategy is a deep and fascinating subject and its a shame to have such discussions constantly sidetracked by dueling and the equivalent of pleeding out a case on the next best way to "legally" though not honestly or honorably skin the cat.
Are the excls and txts of the Mod designers for solo CPT1 fairly common knowledge around here? For example CD (Celestial Dawn's) analysis Essentially, the point of most of the Mods is an attempt to fix a broken game. I just assumed that this wouldn't be as much of an issue between human players.
I agree, too many city improvements will drag down both tech and empire growth.
The thing that draws me to CPT1 over CPT2 is the extra 800 years and the tri level thing and futuristic stuff. It seems like most pbem games are ending before a lot of this though.
I'm curious why pbem players don't take advantage of the improvements made by the essential moders. Is it just too much to coordinate?
