I may have stepped on some toes starting that strategy thread. I emptied it and started more of a blog instead. However, I don't know the procedure for deleting a thread altogether. Can you give me some pointers?

                • Turn 224

This day, Operation Grillin Gramps was put into motion. Events leading up to this military action were precipitated by knowledge of previous coalitions forged through friendships during trying times, having turned sour and thus becoming null and void, with strong language and a threatening undertone. This being as it is, a plan was proposed and voted overwhelming support by our governing officials. This plan calls for the surgical strikes and eradication of veiled threats. Time will come to revisit future considerations as to territories acquistions. Events that unfolded were in no part provoked by our statesman, however, we were implementing our plans for our future economic and scientific health. This was met by unnecessary hostilities and aggressive sabre rattling by aggressor Portugese rebel forces to our peaceful people group.

The following Portugese cities were targeted on this round:

London, Soajo,Lisbon01, Dingwall, Coimbra, Funchal, Cartengea, Santarem, Oeras, Cardiff, Pontypridd, Narbeth, Ponta Delgada1, Estoril and Aleroil

Aberdeen and Cowdenbeth from Green also took hits as they have been aggressive as well.

Now, where does this take us now?

Our hop is that this will bring pause to the unnecessary Sabre rattling.

Pride cometh before the fall, reflect on what brought us to this most unfortunate precipice.

I can turn it off very easily or can subject your people to much more pain and turmoil.

I bid you adieu and do hope for peace talks to proceed.

OK you proved your point. Now I see why you play with the pollution turned off. That's the last time I'll agree to that.

Other than my promise to behave, do you want anything more than I have already given you?

                        You're a lunatic!

Actually, I do the same with Pollution on, just that, well, ya cant punk you quite the same way because my "excited state" of all them nukes is very apparent on the Power graph, oh and as for lunacy, thats what I thought about you when you were challenging me after all I had done for thou...

But, I shall cease and desist any further military action for now, I do fear my allowing you to continue on, shall be met with your furor once you regain your stature.

But, when I return to my castle, shall get the save out and shall continue

                          Be well

                          • Or even this, as my point, as you stated
                            Has been made
and we simply take off from prior turn (Call it a Vision we both had) and I send them another location and you dont concern yourself with my conquests as long as they are not against you?

Just a thought, let me know, Ill be here most of evening, have to work around midnight my time

No lets play on. You've helped me a lot but now you've nuked me. That evens things up. If I win the victory wont be hollow anymore. However, I think we ought to start another huge game as well and start bringing it along. Finally, our third game is the last I will play with anyone with the polution turned off. It takes a lot of work to bring a game to the point where a nuclear exchange is even possible. I don't favor dismantling all that effort with a few turns of nuclear exchanges. I can't imagine you nuked me on a whim. A little sabre rattling on my part cannot be the cause. You must have started to consider me quite a threat. In a game with the pollution turned on I believe the consequenses of your actions would be great both politically and environmentally. If I had not played so poorly at the beginning, thus your hegenomy being increased and if the pollution were turned on, I think there would be a lot of political options for me.

Is it common among human players for there to be nuclear exchanges?

Just FYI, dont be narrow minded when it comes to strategies, learn playing different modes, after all, the game came with the option, it was meant to be used

I only considered you a threat, when you started to demand. I was in no way shape or form considering military action against you. Afterall, I gave you all that free tech and then gifted those two cities to you. Yes your a good opponent, but when you started to demand or threaten me, I very quickly turned bulk of my cities to Nukes, I took all Fascists and used them to rush buy Nukes and then when I got rid of around 60 Fascists, i switched to Communism. Only Then

Depends, keep playing different people and you shall see, many styles are abound.

Your a good player, just decided to take you down a notch from the high horsie you had climbed aboard

                                Ok
