Looking for opponents for CTP1

I have played CTP 1 with all the mods up through Awesome AIPs and I am beating the game on the toughest settings. I have to admit that I have little experiance with the futuristic part of the game as I am so far ahead by 2000 I find it uninteresting to continue. Hoping to find some human competition here.

What version of the game is necessary to play and what method is used pbem or live? What else do I need to know to get ready to play others over the internet?

You only need patch v1.2 and someone willing to play you.

You sound like an interesting challenge so I guess someone will play you sooner or later.

You might also be interested to jump into a PBEM game in progress, replacing someone else.

Oh yes, PBEM is the only way to go these days. It will be quite hard to find someone to play online and you will need some extra files to install.

Birdman I sent you an e-mail and I posted at the link you sent Gramps. Looks like that game is likely already full. I'm GMT -07:00 and will be gone this evening but back mid day tomarrow and ready to go. I have all the patches and downloads for CTP1 and could have a fresh install with the specific patchs etch required up and running as soon as I am informed what is required.
