Hey guys, i'm new to this forum, i'm an italian player of CTP, i've been playin it offline now and then in the last 4 years or so, so i decided that maybe i could try the online challenge now

I've been searching for an online and still alive community that plays this game, and i ended up here. So, if any of you guys wanna play a game with me, tell me how can we do it, cause when i try to play on the internet inside the game, it doesnt reach the server list ever.

And if you need one more, I could set one up with Keygen's (Keygen is from Greece - nearly a neighbour) PBEM-mod lite. Gives an advanced fast start with action in the game from turn 0.

i haven't used any mod yet, so i dont know about that..

anyway, is the "play by mail" the only way to play a game nowadays? Cause i guess it takes a long time to finish a game this way... How long does a game of yours usually last?

i'm in the university now, as soon as i'll get home i'll check my mail

A PBEM-game with only 2 humans and some/no AIs lasts normally 3-6 month (100-200 turns). Depends how the opponents "play-time" fits. Using the PBEM mod lite cuts the duration with..... say 2-4 weeks . The dull open-look-save-send turn weeks that is

Games with 3 or more takes considerable longer time.

There are also on-line games going on. Guess Grandpa Troll is able to help you there.

What about the on-line games, how does that work?

INSANE EXCACTLY my friend. That's just the right description on most of us here.

Besides, 6 month are nothing. Guess the game Monkey 1 is 6, maybe 7 years old now. I'm not sure of the number of players, who have taken seat in that game - but there have been many .

If you are early up in the morning, then we two might be able to finish a game within 1½-2 month. I live in Denmark, so I guess we should be able to make some turns every day!
