hello everyone,

I would like to present myself, and other new players to ctp can present themselfs here.

I've been playing ctp2 original and with AOMII mod installed, I just fing it great. But I remember, when i was just a kid, playing ctp and not ctp2. I really liked the demo at the time, so recently i bought ctp2 and now i'm going to try to buy ctp (If i can find a copy) to play the full game after all of those years.

PS: Is there any mod that modifies ctp like AOM for ctp2?

hi again

i finally got my hands on a copy of ctp. It kind of has a different feel than ctp2. Anyways i already started several games with apolyton pack. And i always get my ass kickt at the end of the medieval ages. It seams i'm slow at getting new techs. Well i'll try to read some strategy guides to help out. I find that civs are much more cooperative than in ctp2 and its mods

How do his mods for ctp and ctp2 compare with crusade or AoM in terms of difficulty?

Top tip for playing ctp is trade, this is the main way to improve scientific research.

I really cant answer as I have only played Keygens Mod and none others (except my personal pleasure ones I pieced together) with the help of many extremely talented Code writers here

Love CtP and feel that it was ahead of its time when it came out in 99.Can see some of its features in other games.
But was a fan of CtP2 first.In some ways the AI in CtP was better but the code work being done on CtP2 and Ages of Man mod have given new life to the game and the AI is at least able to give a good fight for most of the game.
Thanks to Apolyton and the ones who produced some of the best mod work done on any game we can play for as long as computors can run the program.
