Which of these produces more public works?

If I had all my cities on infrastructure

-OR-

I put my PW to 100%


-OR-


a combination of the two?(I.E. all cities on infrastructure but say slider on 50%)


I am assuming you would of course Max Workdays as well..any other suggestions?

I guess with the Math wiz majors we got floating around, maybe someone with more modding experience than I....

Its something I have really been wondering about

I normally when I get Communism..spend a few turns here and there on 100% to lay railroads down, mostly for Military Campaigns

Well it depends whether there is a infrastructure penalty. If infrastructure converts all your production to public works than there should no difference. But if there is a penalty like just 50% is converted to public works then there is a difference.

Well of course you can try. Take a savegame put all your cities on infrastructure and hit end turn. And then save and relaods the base savegame and and put PW tax to 100% and hit end turn again and then compare the results.
