newbie question: how do you load units in air transports or missiles in bombers?

Hello everyone
I have a problem with the game: I can't load units in air transports. I can load units in sea transports by having the units walk on the water tile occupied by the transport, but this doeesn't work for air transport (the unit just stacks with the transport, it doesn't load in). I have the same problem to load missiles in bombers. Can someone tell me how to do it? I think it must be done with the cargo command but I can't figure it out.

Put the units you want to load in the aircraft to sleep in a city or on a tile with the airbase improvement. Then the next aircraft that starts from the city/airbase will take the sleeping units with it. This works for all units that can be loaded in an aircraft, including nukes .
