        well, its fixed, it turned out to be a problem with the csg registry entry, one of the fellows i'm playing with allowed me to import his csg registry entry.
        wanted to thank you for your quick reply and all of your suggestions, i really appreciate it

            Good to see that the problem was solved

            If you're thinking of starting a new PBEM game in the future consider posting in the Multiplayer forum. There are lot of guys here playing PBEM and lot of games running.

              Sometimes when reinstalling, the XP associate the .csg extension to the file playctp.exe located in the "C:\Program Files\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\" folder. THEN - no PBEM

              Don't ask why. But I know, because I had the very same problem some years back. I do still remember that that "empty" feeling when my most beloved program didn't work probably.....
