I played a turn that is for Dimytes, I assume he's no longer with us, although I did email it to him. I also uploaded the turn for anyone else (read: Grandpa Troll) to play the turn instead, but I put it in the wrong thread

I opened the save but it goes to the load screen??

Drop the .sav suffix off the file name, ie, rename the file.

it is named .csg , which is same as others?

I tried that and still same thing

If the file is now called "ctp email to costas_ctp@yahoo.com (turn 124).csg" then I have no answers.

I right clicked on file at desktop and renamed it as above.

However when I right clicked on the save and went to the name it has a .sav after it that i cannot manually remove and also doesnt show on the desktop whn I look at it

any other suggestions folks?

Go in to Windows Explorer (or My Computer) --> Tools --> Folder Options --> View and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". You should then be able to see the .sav suffix and remove it.

That did it, I had forgotten when I got my new PC I had to go through this

Hold the presses, I may have played Keygen's turn and that explains why i never need to play him, He has got his mess together

I played the turn I downloaded and posted here and it was the same turn you just emailed me Ric?

Ah sheet, sorry, it is Keygen's turn. I keep getting this confused with Eagles at War. There is a turn coming up which is Dimytes' tho...

/me explains one would have had to have watched Hogans Heroes to pick up on that, back in late 1960's to early 1970's
