looks like old McDonald has found a farm

I think I might have got too fussy looking for a good start location...
but with a nice long river with some great land and sea around I think it was time well spent.

just spotted some ruins and going to investigate...

I started on a river, built a warrior and popped a goodyhut which produced a city somewhere around turn 9 or so. I disbanded that city and moved it 3 tiles to a river on a grassland

then my second city is built from my original

ANZAC was a term given to combined Aussie and Kiwi forces in WW1..

A great many of them died on this day fighting for the English.

So today all our vets from all our wars march and remember those that fell..

Sad but proud day for us down here...
