  • Winning the game - Alien Embryo

How do I win the game via alien.
I've put the Wormhole probe through the wormhole sensor, built the xenoform and all the containment fields, ECD etc, and now when I click on the 'alien' icon in Ranking, all 4 boxes are filled green and it says 'chance of failure 0%'. However, it's been loads of turns since anything happened regarding this. Is it just a time thing, or should I be doing something else.
    Thanks

If you finished building all the required parts, it is just a matter of time (the time the other players have to find and destroy your xenoform lab). There are three stages, taking five turns each (if you really built all the parts). At the end of stage one and two you should see an alien message icon telling you that you finished stage X. At the end of stage three you win.

Thanks for response. I've had loads of turns since the alien embryo popup told me anything, but when I go into the AE icon it has 4 green boxes (Stages 1-3 and End). Within my cities I'm not given the option to build Xenoform or ECD or anything, although these items are not shown as built in my list of build items for each city. Any further thoughts?

If all four boxes (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, End) are green then you've win the game! Congratulations

It's been a while since the last time I finished this game in single player so I can't relly remember but I think you should see the respective video. If not then you might have altered the settings...

Well I haven't received any congrats message regarding aliens. I was getting the stage updates and then that was it. I am past 3000 AD though - does that make a difference?

For Alien Life Project win you should see the "GW36A.avi" video located in the CD under the following path: /Setup/data/Max/ctp_data/default/videos/

Two reasons I can think of for not seing the video are a) not having the CD inserted into the CD-ROM or b) you were playing a multiplayer game.
