My so called secret was taught years ago

I have a river I build cities on every other tile along the river to build them settlers quick

then I build outward, wasting minimal time moving to the optimum location.

Here is a neat trick you can use to help build wonders of an improvement:

say you have a city with a mill and factory and can produce units quick

put them on Calvary and send the calvary to another city and disband within the city and the production (a portion or percentage of) will go toward the factory you are building in the other city

works pretty neat as well

I never use the rush busy granary bug though
