What exactly does it mean when the manual says city walls give +4 on defense? Or +12 for force fields for that matter.
Is it +40% or is it an actual flat-rate, 4 point bonus to every unit's defense rating?
If it's the latter, then it makes no sense to build pikemen for city defense, right? The difference would just be between 6 def phalanx and 7 def pikemen.
