Well, ATI and Nvidia "outsource" some of the manufacturing to other companies who make essentially the same card. They of course make their own "official" version too. Vivo, Sapphire, and Gigabyte and many others who also make them have some leeway in what they can do. The can make some tweaks etc. to try and get a competitive edge.

Anyways, back to the point, Vivo also made its own version of this card.

I have to go on another tangent for a second actually...,
The x800 pro core is very similir to the x800xt. (which is essentially to levels up...pro..xl..xt) The main difference is that the x800 pro has 12 pixel pipelines and the x800xt has 16. Those 4 other pipelines are still on the card, just disconnected.

In Vivo's case however, they aren't. With a simple Bios flash of the card...you could turn it into a x800xt.

For other versions, like the ATI one, you would actually have to modify the card itself.
