  • Need Basic Scenario Info

    Can someone point me to a step by step
    instruction on how to set up a scenario
    for CTP(1)?

    Also can you point me to a reference of slic
    functions that are available for CTP?
    If it ain't broke, find a bigger hammer.

    Beyond the readme that comes with the patch, the only other guide to scenario design I'm aware of is the one on my webstie (link at top of post).

    It's surprisingly hard to find a decent reference on SLIC functions - I remember I searched for a few hours before finding a decent one, so I attach that for you.

        Thanks Troll and J. Bytheway.

        I have been able to do a few things, and now it seems I need a reference to the various objects / properties that are supported.

        For example I see the use of

        city.location
        g.player
        unit.beginturn

        amoung others in slic code that I have read.
        But what is the full list of objects/members available?
        And any access methods for them?
        If it ain't broke, find a bigger hammer.

          There's a complete overview of everything in SLIC here. In particular, click on the link 'Built-in variables and trigger events' under the header 'Built-in Variables' and 'Function reference' under 'Functions'.
