Online Gaming Problem

I use a Windows XP pc with a router.
But I got a problem, I recently started playing civ ctp again and wanted to play online. At first it would not find any server and keeps hangin on checking for servers. I found out that my XP blocks it, then I made XP stop blocking it so I could play... Still the same problem, I got the server list off this site. Im thinking the problem is the router im behind. Does anyone know what ports to open. Or is it an other problem?

The game in single player mode works fine but I cant get into Multiplayer...

I am not completely sure that Civ-CTP is using the exact same port range, but you could try the ports from CTP2. The server port (UDP 21157) has to be the same, since both games are using the same server.
