mac maps

I have the mac version of CTP and am using it for the first time. I can't seem to figure out how I am to start on one of those nifty earth-shaped maps i've downloaded. They dont' show up as scenarios, nor does there seem to be an option to select a custom map. How do I do it?

Once I can do that...how do I get it so the civs start in the right places? or is that already part of the map file?

sorry dont have much to offer in the way of mac support

did you check the README that came with the game maybe that will explain how to load imported maps?

Don't have any experience with CtP for the Mac. All I can do is point you to this site, it contains a truckload of maps and some instructions on how to use them on a Mac. Failing that, you could try this forum as well.
