  • CTP patch 1.1 for Linux?

I downloaded and tried applying the 1.2 patch for Linux but it complained I had to have v1.1. Is there a 1.1 patch around - or any way of finding which version of CTP for Linux I have installed for that matter?

Wow, it must have been years since anyone posted any Linux-related problems for this game. I forgot any knowledge I had on the Linux troubleshooting a LONG time ago, but fortunately Google has a better memory You can dowload a v1.1 patch from this site: ftp://sunsite.auc.dk/pub/os/linux/loki/patches/civctp/

See also the lokigames website for more info: http://www.lokigames.com/products/civctp/updates.php3

If that doesn't work I dont' think I can help you any further and frankly I doubt anyone else can either (but you never know who might be reading this...)

So good luck, I hope it helps!

I love civctp 4 linux but multiplayer savegames are broken in version 1.2a. Somtimes the game crashes and then we are stuck. oo bad. I wish the lokigames port of civctp was open source.

I've never played via email. Give me advice and I will try it :-)

Just as long as we don't have a ctp2 port.

I'm thinking about a comfortable way to fetch the savegame and copy it into the destination directory.
