Can't start any CTP games HELP!

I was going to start a new game vs Hatschy when CTP completley refused to finish first turn. It just hangs and nothing happens when I press next.

I could open old turns but not start a new games.

So I simply reinstalled CTP, installed 1.21 patch and now I can't start any games by duble clicking on turns anymore. Only thing that happens is that when I double click on the turns I get to the first CD menu window where I can select to play but then CTP just ends if I press play.

HELP!

After reinstalling CTP several times and manually clearing all CTP related registry entries I finally managed to get it to run again.
