Only out west did I catch salmon, trout, perch, bass and the like now that I am out east.

Mostly fish for the peace and quiet, but bass for breakfast is always a nice treat.

That just down the street from me, John and I go way back to public school. The Canadian sport fisherman is a mere 2 miles up the road lol.

John is the dude with the glasses.

John is a big man this rainbow is big...

Most of these caught a few hours drive north, but I am 10 minutes from lake ontario, an hour from erie and a few hours from huron.

      Awesome pictures Blackice!

We catch some bass and cat-fish, but I have never seen trout like that. I used to catch a few rainbow in California when I lived there, but they were always iddy biddy.

Hum, these pictures were posted by a fisherman....
do I need to check for photoshp alterations

lololol especially since they are used for marketing purposes.

I go for a quick fish on the Grindstone creek, a mere 5 minute walk from here. One of the farmers has a stocked trout farm. Many escape, some of those suckers are huge.

The Saugeen river where most of the trout, steelhead shots come from is great. I was up there last year a few times. I did not get a 20 lb one but we did a lot of catch and release. Great experience for some who fish baren zones.

The record rainbow trout for Alberta was caught in Maligne Lake, tipping the scales at 9 kg (20.5 lbs).

I was there when this American caught this massive fish. He had no money and was on his way back to the US. The bid war was on and the Jasper Lodge won. The fella stay all summer in the lodge free and got a hansom sum of cash too. The trout can be seen above the fire place in the main sitting area.

Maligne is one of the most beautiful lakes I ever fished.
As for around here the fishing spots are endless, lake trout over 25 inches, brown trout over 20 inches and chinook salmon of any size.

Nice eh, worth the trip and guided fishing trip is worth it. They also offer guided horse back fishing trips through the rockies. That is something even the women would enjoy, believe me.

no Keygen not one, any good fish I ever caught never made it to film.

Anytime Keygen take a month or two off and we will travel the nation east to west. We'll go by car or camper but you would need at least a month.

Maybe Check could join us for one of these salmon feast's.

I bet she would, there are many unbelievable places here. One backpack, horseback trip through the rookies convinces most. Let alone down east on a peaceful river with a rod and reel.

We to have humidity but I bet not even close to Mississippi, well at least not for as long a time.

I am sure you could Check, Canada is groveling for tallent.

It sounds like a very tempting offer Pete
A month of vacation, traveling throughout Canada, visiting awsome landscapes and with exellent company
I think I'll start packing and catch a plane to Canada immediately

What is the best season to visit Canada?

My uncle (who lives in MN currently) has promised to take me ice fishing this winter. Already looking forward to that.

Where are you up there anyway, Province/Territory wise?

The Great Province Of Ontario, too much pollution for my liking, but beautiful place none the less. Never been ice fishing myself.

                              Thanks for the info Pete

Late August to early September seems more promising to get some time off so if I make it, it will be that time.

Perfect time too hot weather, warm water, good fishing and if you go to the end of september you'll get to see the amazing colors as the leaves change.

Again you have a place to stay so include that in your budget 0 for lodging, I have hotel owners that owe me and my house of course.
