Actually I knew about the 2 points in the 2x2 games
However it didn't cross my mind that the table was in fact refering to points rather to wins, I guess being a "little known fact" that you had to refresh my memory

i was confused in the beginning too. "*9" does not mean X*9, it means X*10 + 9. so it is turns 9, 19, 29, 39, ...

you have to read the link between X and 9 alphanumerically more than mathematically i guess.
