Here is another new version (0.03) of the OFT-scenario (@FlameFlash: Read this! ).

    Additions:
    ----------

    - You can hit the "m" key at any time to get the message, which allows to turn the extended notifications on or off, back on the screen.

    - As an option to selecting a fixed turn for granting the free tech to everyone, there is now the possibility to choose a period of 5, 10, 15 or 25 turns, so each player can decide individually, when she wants to get the free tech.

    - There is now an option to add a warrior to the first city each player builds. This can be configured by the first human player, too.

    Changes:
    ---------

The configuration icons for the scenario now all show the "CIVILIZATION" icon.

      Most awesome hatschy!

I'll happily try it out when I get home... in a hotseat, or what?
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...

Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

Should work for all types of games. If it does make sense for all, that is another question.

              New scenario version: 0.04.

              Additions:
              ----------

              - Added an alert box, which reminds players of selecting the free tech at the beginning of the last turn of the configured period (only if a period was configured and if no tech has been selected).

              Changes:
              ---------

Deleted the "(Simplified)" extension from the name of the scenario. I don't want to deal with two different branches of the scenario.

              Error corrections:
              --------------

Yep, I've added one in version 0.03 ! Selecting "Yes" for the extra notifications during the first turn did work only for the last human player. This is fixed with version 0.04.

Do you think that it makes sense to start the game, if some players don't have the time to play?

However, you (or I, depends on who'll start the game) will need some extra info:

All players post your desired nation and leader name, please!

Plus your desired settings for the scenario (download the latest version and give it a try, if you don't know what I'm talking about). If you think that we should start without the scenario, please let us know how to handle the thing with the free tech.

Hmm, building bugs into Windows ... much better than putting them into CtP scenarios .

I'll try out this new one this weekend hopefully.

FlameFlash of the Native Americans please.

Otherwise, I'm growing rather fond of the standard SL settings, with goods at 100%?

                        goods at 100% sound good.
i made a few test games and it seems not choosing a government as starting tech is a scientific drawback, so having many goods kind of counteracts that.
also, i would suggest to give the free warrior mentioned by hatschy to anyone who does not choose a government as first technology to compensate further for the above mentioned fact.
                        so i introduce question F:

                        F) Shall choosing a non-government tech as starting tech be compensated in any way (e.g. with the free warrior) ?

                        yes - 1 vote (Math)

I vote no... the warrior was for an idea to delay the free tech turn to later so that once you know your landscape you can make a tech decision based there much better than if you have just a city in the middle of darkness.

alright, but think about the government question...

Still think no... it's a strategic choice... if everybody goes for governments that's their choice... but if they see something else to go after, say whatever tech it is to give the gaia controller and the one that kills off the top three polluting cities...

                              I better not continue.
