  • Leviathan and wonder oddities.

    I am prolonging a game I could have won long ago to get all the techs and try the future units. The Leviathan is very powerful, but it took me many years to test it. It moves 1 space-period. Railroads, maglevs make no difference, it moves one. It also will not enter a transport or a cargo helicoptor. I haven't tried the more advanced transport units. It will move through the undersea tunnels, very slowly.
    I also noticed a bug I guess. While I was in anarchy going to Ecotopia I had some empty build slots. I was fooling around and put a wonder in one. Not an early one either. I highlighted to see the cost to rush build it. 20,000 gold! Normally it takes several hundred thousand to rush build a wonder doesn't it? I had plenty of cash lying around so I scarfed up all the wonders I didn't have on the cheap. What's up with that?
    I am playing the vannilla version with no mods.

    The wonder rush buy thing is probably a bug? The wonder costs 20000 shields, and the rush buy cost is equal to shield cost in cities that have nanite factories, but those are only possible in space cities...

    As for the Leviathan, it's exactly that - always moving by 1 slot. That's how it's supposed to work, being so powerful otherwise .

      Rush build costs are very low when you're in Anarchy, so it's officially not a bug but a feature But I must say 20k still seems extremely cheap, though a Nanite Factory might indeed explain this.

      However, in Anarchy rush build costs should IMHO be extremely high, not low (as it is, you could switch to Anarchy for a few turns every now and then to buy stuff real cheap), so even if it's officially not a bug, it's certainly in need of fixing.
