Under what conditions should we allow restarts?

I say only when the game doesn't work
If it ain't broke, find a bigger hammer.

i think if something on the game was created wrong, for instance in one game i forgot to set the barbs to the default (they where at 'raging hoards' from a personal game) and i made the game and started it before i realized, we decided to continue playing but i think we should have restarted if enough people had a problem with it
    :)

That sounds like a good one, any others?

I would say under the following three reasons:

        1) A player starts in a really bad location - surrounded by tundra, ice etc.

        2) The turn crashes somewhere between the first 10 turns for a reason that can't be fixed only with a restart. Perhaps we could discuss also what would happen if a game would crash in an advanced point.

        3) The game starter mess up the settings. Already proposed by Protoss.
