I'm unclear of what the 2nd option means. Is it for the x9 turns? Or for the end of the game?

The 2nd option refers to scoring without *9's.

It means that if one player is annihalated or otherwise looses (4xPG or resigns) then the 1st in PG is winner, 2nd in PG is 2nd.

*9's will only be used as in last leagues method(s)

I would allow that we can use *9s for tie break if the 2nd option is choosen. But that is a lot of work just for a tie break.

i dont want to play the naysayer here, but i'd really prefer if a 'poll' would include more than two options which are both somewhat supported by you, checkmate, and a third option saying "nope ! without me !"
