IA challenge...
I hope not to be out of subject : but have some people think to program IA and challenge them in a multiplay game with only IA (on a random map, or a specific one) ?

ahhh......why? Why would you go and put it on the web if you're only playing the computer? Maybe you could expand a little on your idea here Zoboze....It really doesn't make much sense from this perspective, sorry. I'm strugglin' to understand why you'd program an ai for a multiplayer game, then only compete vs the ai. When you could program the ai , and compete against it in single player mode anyways....

Just for the pleasure to make a smart and clever IA and oppose it to other IA made by other people.
It's for people who's like programs IA algorythm.

Out of curiousity, are you proposing something similar to the 80s hit Core Wars, where you created programs that battled? Could be an interesting sideline...a challenge for the strategists to create an ai that duplicates their successes.

Of course, a good IA need a good stratege. But it need a person which can analyse how he (she) thinks and a somewhat competente hacker to implement his tatics.
