Disbanding cities over 3, possible?

Have been trying to find a way to disband cities over size 3. With large number of civs u end up with too many cities in a heartbeat. Tried changing the disband city size line from 3 to 5 but it didnt do anything. The ability to add settlers to a city in some mods helps, but just annoying having to defend the city till it produces the settlers, while watching it drop my civ's happiness.

The option to change the city disband size was never implemented. It can be done through SLIC if one wants to go to the trouble of doing that. Other than that, you just have to keep building settlers. If you take over the city, bombard it until it is 3 or smaller before you take it over. Others might have faster ways.

Thanks for the info. Slic sounds pretty interesting. Gonna have to look at its readme's more closely.
