  • Give me better SLIC dokumentations!!!

    I've gotten every bit of information about slic, including the code to what everyone else have been making in slic.
    But I’m real tired of trying one single step at a time, finding out that i can't do this and that with SLIC, or the values and/or types which i give it, raises syntax failures.
    I find the documentation to SLIC totally inadequate!
    I want at least a good explanation of the types, values, indexes, contexts, general syntax, patterns, structures, modules and functions. These are totally inadequate explained or not explained at all
    EVEN better yet ..GIVE ME THE SOURCE CODE THANK YOU!

    I'm a student of computer science at the university of Copenhagen, and if I spend hours trying to figure out the general syntax, then the syntax isn’t explained good enough!!

    Enslave them all!!

    This a copy from the response from Activision, i got after i sendt a email with the same text as the above.

      After reading the reply from activision I got really mad. Is that suppose to be from "customer service". Also I thought I read in a thread somewhere from someone representing activision that they were going to make the new slic documentation available for us. I don't really think that we are asking to much either to have the documentation.

      I think this is a very sloppy attitude from activision. And it reflects how they view the customer who buys their product. They don't care about the customer if that's the best response we are going to get. It may be unsupported but I think you as the customer deserve a better and more personal response instead of a lazy response that you received.

      Hey maybe next time they release a game our response will be unsupported.

        I asked the same thing (where is Mr. Ogre?) in another thread and have gotten no response. I'm hoping that this is because he's writing the docs for SLIC or polishing an upgrade for SLIC that will add all the wonderful things that we have asked for.
