  • v. 0.9 gives two Scenario Pick Screens

I think I followed instructions but cant get it to work. The pick scenario screen has Apolyton box and example box. If i click on Example and OK another pick screen appears without Apolyton Scenario. If I click on Apolyton and OK a pick screen appears with no scenarios to choose.

If I launch I get normal 1.2 game. Shoulnt the pack have new units in library such as helicopter or cruiser?

    Thanks

the example choice is the one installed with the 1.2 patch

as for not geting any choices in the apolyton choice, are you sure you unzipped it correctly?

"Example" is an Activision example of how the scenario structure works; picking this will start a regular game because it does not have any game files in it.

Picking Apolyton Pack should give you four options: Apolyton "naked" which starts with Apolyton Pack on a random map and three pre-made maps. If you don't get those options you could try to reinstall Apolyton Pack and make sure that all files are unzipped.

I found out that using Norton unzip was the problem. Worked like a charm when I used WinZip 7.0. You said WinZip in the instructions but i didnt think it was critical.

        Thanks

I guess, the problem is, that Winzip automatically uses the directory structures provided in the ZIP file, as other UNZIPpers may need a certain command or parameter to do so.
So using something other than Winzip may result in some files ending up not there where they should be.

Wasn't there the needed caution about *.exe files, anself-executable archive would be the very easiest way to assure an installation without any problems.
