Flat maps with patch 1.2?

Hi,
i've got a localized version of CtP, so i haven't v1.2 yet. I'm wondering whether it's now possible to create flat maps for scenarios. And what about civ2-like objectives? And monthly turns?

Unfortunatly (unless I missed something in the 10 minutes I had to play with it), No. Still no flat world support. Which is really too bad. I want to do a scenario around the Mediterranean basin. But I sure don't want someone going West from England to get to Iran in it.

Tu peux d'ores et déjà ,installer le patch 1.2 si tu veux
Renomme juste CTP_1_2.exe en .zip Copie tous les fichiers (bien sur les fichiers se trouvant sous ..\english doivent être copiés sous ..\french) et hop tu pourras jouer avec un bô CTP1.2 en franglais.

Sinon, mondes plats, unités réservées à certaines civs et une option pour empêcher le changement de gouvernement ne font malheureusement pas partie des nouveautés du patch 1.2

Pour le monde plats on ne peut pas faire grand chose actuellement, mais on peut bidouiller pour trouver des solutions aux autres (en éditant l'IA et en créant plusieurs arbres des technologies... ce qui pour l'instant me parrait un peu trop long )

There is a way to get flat maps in CTP. But it is through editing the profile and userprofile txt. There is a place that says Xrap and Yrap. Put no for both and you get a flat map.

You know, this is a really wonderful game. Unfortunatly far too much of the chanllenge lies in discovering how to make it do what it is capable of.

BW, thanks for the tip. Why couldn't Activision put a button in that does that? They already had one for the other 2 options.....
