Naming Cities

One thing I haven't figured out since starting CTP is naming my own cities. I've been looking for options upon creating a city, but I don't see any.

Its no big deal, but it sure is fun coming up with my own city names. Is this feature no more?

Thanks again for entertaining basic questions.

PS: What kinds of names do/would you name your cites?
I like to name them after ppl I know or something logical like "West Mountainville"

In the Window that pops up simply type in a name and press "ENTER"..or ok.

Or..go to options/city names and highlight the named city in the little window -type the new name in and press "ENTER" and the new name appears.


Some put "N" for North then name how many..some "NW" for Northwest as an option..


One thing I do when i have say, 100+ cities in a game is name cities in my area (I actually live near)

Another thing to get your opponent thinking, is later in game, say..if your America, have a city named: NEW YORK 5 and they may think you have that many!!

You could go to the files but then you would have to have some scenario making experience too!

Actually, when you discover a city, use that window,

OR

On right side of screen click the options tab and it pops straight up and go to city windows tab...

I think that window only pops up in the patch though, so you need to make sure you have the patch installed first.
