libesd required

I installed freeciv (linux slackware 9.1). When I try to launch civclient I get following message:

civclient: error while loading shared libraries: libesd.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What package I need to install?

You need to install esound. That is odd, of course, since ./configure should have complained that it did not find esound when you compiled it. You can also just recompile with

./configure --disable-esd

Well. I didn't compiled. I just installed precompiled package. And I don't have half of required devel packages installed (and even no disk space for them - this is old computer). I will try with esound (soundcard isn't working so there may be another problem)//
