  • Global worklists -- How do you use them?

I am having trouble finding the global worklist editor in Freeciv 1.14.0 .

I've read through the manuals and looked all over the civ game and just can't find where to use the global editor. I've also searched through these forums looking for any mention of worklist problems or deimplementation of it, but didn't find anything on the subject.

Can anyone tell me if this feature is still active and where to find/use the feature? I need a good description because the manual is very vague on where the global editor is at. It makes me believe that the global editor is the missing F4 or F9.

    Thanks a bunch,

    Bezel

Good question. I do not know what happened to it. I never used it, so I also never noticed it was gone.

Here is the link to the manual for 1.13.0 GTK+1.2 build.

And here is the confusing text:

      2.1.20 Global Worklists
      Global Worklists

A player may use the "Edit worklists" window to create, edit, and delete global worklists. As of version 1.11.4, a player may create up to 16 global worklists. Global worklists are intended to save time managing cities: instead of creating many identical city worklists, the player may create one global worklist and copy it to each city.

Maybe the manual needs to be updated?

Ok, finally found the worklist editor.

It was under Kingdom or shift-L for the shortcut. I kept on looking under reports and from the city worklist.

Then I tried the CVS version and they added a link to the global worklists from the city worklist, and from there I found the editor on both 1.14 and CVS. Thanks for the help.
