1.14.1 first beta is out!

The first beta release of 1.14.1 is now out. This fixes a number of bugs from 1.14.0, most importantly UTF-8 problems for RedHat users, and also adds the teams feature. It is likely to contain a lot of new and interesting bugs, however, so this is not for the faint of heart ;-)

Windows binary builds will be created for the next beta.

Does this beta use png across the board, or is xpm still used?

XPM is still default for most clients. However, win32 uses PNG exclusively, and both gtk client versions should be able to read PNG as well. Xaw will not work with PNG, but nobody uses Xaw anyway.

The situation is the same for 1.14.0. You can give it a try, and see if it works.
