What i use: Knoppix 3.2 (Debian based) on a intel machine with KDE v3.X.
What I've done: Deleted the old lfreeciv on knoppix, and recompiled on my system.
Problem: I've had this problem both b4 and after recompilation, seems my civlient will not read the freeciv.rc file in which I've specified white background and black text with Sans 10 Font for the chatline, and instead it gives me black background with white text with the dreaded courier font.
