  • can't start civserver on windows

    when i start civserver at my school, it work fine, but at my home, i get a message like "error 0: socket insertion failed". Im under Win 95 on a P-166. Do someone know what can cause this?

    Freeciv works over TCP/IP even if you are not running it on the internet. That means that you have to have TCP/IP installed, which you perhaps don't on your home computer if it isn't connected to the internet. Try adding it in "control panel"->network
