how can i detect the media player type of the client from my servlet?

Hmmm . . . I'm not sure.

There's the Java media framework, have you tried using that? It plays audio and video. I don't usually use any external, platform-dependent media players.

Hehe -- 'Apolyton Flu'.

I can't get in on my old F_Smith logon. I try to logon, it tells me no one is registered with that name. I try to register that name, it tells me someone already has that name.

I wrote to Mark G., but haven't heard back yet.

Hence the new nickname.
