I know the project was abadoned and the forum should have been. But what happened with its threads?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the GG&S forum was merged with this one... -
The forum was closed and removed from the forum listing, but it still exists in the servers. There was an announcement about it a while back. Here's a link to the forum (in case anyone is interested):
