      • Nothing specific. I happen to find him insufferable.

He may be a nice enough guy, and quite different in person.

        • Maybe your personal chemistries just don't mix. I find him a nice enough guy, then again, I've spent frighteningly large amounts of time with him on the IRC channel.

          • Heresy!!!

the BAC story thread has fallen out of the top ten! We must revive it!!!

Unfortunately, until my finals week is over (i.e....next week) I will not be able to contribute to it until after "heck week".

My next posts will catch up on Sym, (go History Guy!) the Drone debacle ( Mr. Prez) and have Sheng-ji's personal reaction to Kessel's interview.........after my French exam that is!

            Long Live BAC!!!!

              "We meet again."

              "*graark*"

"But this was not a part of the initial agreement!"

              "*graark*"

"If you were in my position you would understand."

              "*graark*"

"It was clearly stated that you will leave as soon as the DSL is connected, was it not?"

              "*graark*"

"So, Mr. Slump, then what the hell are you still doing here?! Wanna meet your cousin Mr. Writer's Block, huh?" *points in the general direction of a small orange birdlike creature hanging from a ventilation duct*

                Done, comrade.

Firstly, the Temple researchers receive some happy news. For the second post, we stay on Vega Prime, as the Firaxian government begins to strike back at its shadowy enemies, using equally shadowy methods.

Keep the faith, friends! I'm looking forward to all new additions, and eagerly awaiting the debut of the Urban Ranger!

                • Hmmm... why would the Firaxis government want to assassinate Antoja, especially when he was alreayd inside a maximum-security prison?

                  • He only got one year, at which point he could be deported, or plot against their interests in the Republic.

But if that still sounds stupid, don't hesitate to let me know and I can look at it again.

                    • Whoops. I gave him one year when I first wrote it, but I must have changed it to three years during re-working and forgotten.

Edit: Do you have any advice?

                      • Well, you could always come up with some kidn fo conspiracy theory, like, oh, I don't know... maybe some part of their government secretly supported his attempt at sabotage, and they want him eliminated so he can't squeal and seriously embarass them?

                        • Ah, yeah, maybe he knows something they don't want him to tell? Thanks.

                          • Or perhaps he was linked to a foreign government or international organization, that might have been embarrassing if revealed?

                            (Sorry for the spam-ish posts . . .)

                              • I'm working on a post that will changed the nature of Beyond Alpha Centauri somewhat in that the humans are going to be shown a glimpse of what it was like in the good old days before their puny civilzations were born.

Mr. President: Your scientist may become more important than you imagine.

Franky: The Hive may soon find that their allies the Bree are not one the most powerful aliens out there.

History Guy: The PKs may find that they will have to drop some of their distrust of the Spartans in order to fight a more powerful enemy.

Kass: The Terrans may get some breathing room unless of course the Spartans And Drones and other Chiron civs cannot repel the comming threat.

General: The Cadre may find themselves at first left out of the gathering storm but will soon become the focus of the attention of several fleets. At least the space surrounding your planet.

                                Everyone stay tuned.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh
