Well, this is what, the third story based on BAC? I've been thinking for a while about writing a story from the Cadre's history, and here it is. Enjoy!

Well, you have me wanting more so far.

This way I can maybe find a weekness in the Cadre to exploit

Just be kind to Kessel please. He isn't so bad you know. He just a plain soldier that wants the Spartan family to get along.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

I know, but somehow I doubt any faction is going to have much tolerance for an armed group of rebels in their territory, especially the paranoid Spartans. And it's not like the Cadre are very much different, when they have the upper hand they don't show much in the way of mercy either.
And btw, this story's set while Santiago is still in charge.

Your completely right, just keep in mind these events

2404-2450, the last of the Spartans left Chiron for the new planets in Syrma system.

In 2480, Kessel was appointed military governor of Tyndareus (second planet in the Syrma system) served to 2518.

By 2500 Kessel had brought Tyndereaus up to the standard of Sparta Prime

In 2518 Kessel was given command of Spartan Marines as the Bree war flared up. Beginning in 2521, Kessel’s marines fought the Bree soldiers across three planets.

I love the story so far. Keep more comming

Ah, my bad. I put the wrong date in, thinking that was some time AFTER the Spartans left Chiron. Will have to correct it.
