I meant to put in there somewhere that the commander of the ship had been diciplined. I don't think the Spartans are exactly determined to have a war. Cause they have a whole lot of other enemies to worry about. Hive, Bree and Pirate activity. But if you read my timeline you might see that Spartans took one of your colonies. I don't know how big you want the PKs to be, but I would say that they have many more far flung colonies than the spartans who like to stay somewhat compacted to avoid surprise invasions.

Agreed. -And the PK military is kind of pissed off about having to be in all kinds of crazy places all at once, since it inevitably leads to forces being spread out way to thin in some regions... I'll get back to that...

Yeah but the Spartans actually attacked two of your colonies. New Calodon was very close to Spartan space. They attacked Coventry first and then attacked NC. New Calodon is know apart of the Spartan Territoral Annex. Coventry is was just gonna be a bonus. The real target had been New Calodon. But it was just a small one anyway. I thought that there had to be some history of animostiy between the two.

Surely PKs would side with the hive since they are know associates of the insidious Bree.

A little out of context with your jovial name calling, but if there ever was to be trouble with the Spartans and the Hive and Peacekeepers, a possible alliance between the Hive and Peacekeepers could happen via the Gaians because the Gaians have understandings with the Hive and I think we have a very close relationship with the Peacekeepers, sharing a base on Chiron and we used to go out exploring space with them back in the old days.

I am so sorry I have not had time to write biographies for my people. How can History Guy say Cyan is horrific? Hasn't he seen my senate?!?

But Domai is no longer in charge of the Drones, it's now 'Kristy Adams'. As for your ice cream question, I have no sufficient answer.

Gaian's as the 'middle-man'?

I like the idea of the Gaians being a liason between the Peacekeepers (anyone watch Farscape?) and the Greater Hive Empire.

Although we are not at war with the Spartans

Anyway, I was wondering if Miriam is still in charge of the Believers and if Lal is in charge of the Peacekeepers.

Another thing, do you all think the Hive has been in contact with the Sol system? I personally don't think so because of 1. Spartan space "buffering" Sol, acting as a barrier. 2. Yang has his own agenda to fulfill which doesn't concern Sol.

But if Hive has been in contact with Sol, I think it would be like the others, spy insertion by independent traders....What do you all think?

Well, I haven't really decided yet... he would be getting pretty old, but then again, it seems Morgan and Yang are still around, so why not? If you guys want him I'll keep him!

Well, let's just say that we won't be too pleased...

But hey, that's nothing new. We never were too pleased with the Hive and they never much cared for us either. -But that won't stop us throwing everything we have at the Spartans if it comes to that...

I haven't read much of the thread aswell this past week, but Cybergod, please no super godlike beings...just ends up making the game unrealistic in the long run and godmodish.

Also, I will do the description of Venus, the Belters and the Scions. Venus IS self-sufficient and don't need to depend on any one. they may before, but not anymore. They are also quite neutral.

kass, if they can colonize venus, they should be able to colonize Mercury, but depend on the use of radiation shields and etc...

tHE General event timelime i will do and post on the website.... after that, post/send your timeslines base on that general site.

[They are a multi-ethnic working community, with a low population - couple of millions? (help Kass!) The Titan people support the ideals of the early Drone Republic (before Domai's fall) and the Mars Combine government has strong backing here. The current government was set up by InEn, to organise a mining colony that grew into proper settlement, is still in place only due to the fact that the people have not found a reason to rebel - they get supplies shipped regulary from the Alliance so why starve? This might change if some other influentative faction gives the rebels support and helps them build complexes of bio-plantations, something the T. Alliance stopped building to make the Titans "addicted" and dependant on their supplies, therefore controlling the unhappy citizens (no work - no food). My suggestion is to let me be a new governor for Titan, as appointed by the Alliance, since the former governor is believed to have joined the rebels. Many political games are played until my character (who has good contacts on Mars) also chooses to join the rebels. I think it would be risky to do this but imagine this split in the Sol factions:

Cybergod, Titan in reality as a good chance to have a jungle like ecosystem. SO not another dull cratered moon. If it as plants, also a possibility of having its own atmosphere filled with oxygen.
If so, Titan will most likely be the second/third place to be colonized after Mars and maybe Luna. So the idea of having a mining community on a greenish jungle like moon? When i hear and see Titan, i imagine a jungle like moon....

No teams please... Terran ALliance is comprised of factions in Sol, but no civil war type teams. Major Terran factions is Earth Coalition and Mars Combine...then InEn.

Venus is self-dependable by the 2500s, and don't depend on anyone. They Neutral

the Belters cannot exactly be depended upon to support anyone's side. So they quite erratic relations wise.

The Scions are Neutral and prefer not to trade many of their most advance techs....but not better then the Fraal or Proginators...but slightly more advance then Chironians. anywaym will do the descs on the webpage.

Kass, another thing would like to mention.... You mention sol being against genetic/cyborg manipulation.....well, Scions use to be humans..... if the Terran Alliance have policies like that, then they would make the Scions outlaws. and the Belters wouldn't care either
also, why would they be so against genetic manipulation? may have a purist political group in the terran alliance.....longivity could be banned, but what is the use? Longivity exist, bt not as good as the Chironians and available to small percentage of the Sol population. (the rich and more infrastructured factions). Morganites would provide better longivity technology, for high price
