This for comments on "The Terren Empire". As you can probaly tell by now, it's going to be about Earth trying to re-assert it's control on Chiron. I've only posted one episode so far, so I won't expect much in the way of commentary.

Have you written Terren in purpose or do you mean Terran?

just to mention quickly... Alpha Centauri is like 4-6 lightyears away, so will take 4-6 years for light from there to reach earth... observation will see chiron 4-6 years before.

Interesting story, i get the impression your writing it fast to get the ideas out ASAP, thats cool.
I think if Firaxes ever took on a third addition to SMAC, the "meanwhile, back on earth" element would be the best approach, this story so far quantifies that angle pretty good. Some kind of Reclamation Government ruling over a Fallout-looking zaibatsu dominated world with MadMax fringers and muties living out there on the- er.. fringe. This is the imagery that your text has bought to my mind so far after two posts!
